Where Have All the Leaves Gone —Day 25-2019 #Na/GloPoWriMo

Where have all the leaves gone?

White powdery wet stuff
Falls from the sky
Covering everything in sight and
Muffling sounds
Little ones tilt their heads up
Mouths open to catch a flake
Scooping handfuls into balls to throw
The air is crisp and cold with a
Faint smell of a warm fire burning
Winter bliss
