The squirrels 🐿 in our back yard make us smile. The other day I was so sad because I thought I saw a dead squirrel out back. I called to my husband and said “is that a dead squirrel?” He quickly got out to investigate. It was a small clump of leaves that had been blown out of the tree and had turned brown. Phew!! 😃😃😃😃🐿🐿🐿🐿

PS And now the real laugh… When J goes out after wind has blown debris down, he started saying (just today), “I’m going out to pick up dead squirrels!” 🐿🤣🐿🤣🐿🤣🐿

I’ve looked at leaves from both sides now, up (in trees) and (blown) down… Sorry, since they form illusions, like clouds, I couldn’t help myself from singing 😉 Most people think of squirrels as pests, but they are fun to watch.
