Saturday December 14 2019 #coffeeshare

If we were having a coffee this morning, I would tell you about my unhappiness with my artificial tree purchase.

But the sun is shining and leaves are still falling from the trees. Our pecan trees are bare. The oaks have a bit less than half left and the yard is shoe depth in leaves.

Every week I share my photo that I post for the weekly challenge at 52Frames.com. A free website that has guidelines and the only rules are that the photo must be taken and posted within the week. You have to do time math, because people around the world post.

I also try to be consistent with three other poetry challenges. Colleen’s #TankaTuesday, Susi Bock’s #IWH (I write her) challenge, and The Terrible Poetry Challenge by Chelsea Owens.

My son brought us a most beautiful poinsettia. And so far, it is still living!

A friend gave me some succulents and I’ve put them in dirt and hope they thrive.

These photos I just took using the insert photo via camera button in the WordPress iPhone app.

Now I need to go do laundry. And my coffee cup is finished!

Have a great weekend!

  1. Hi Ruth,
Because I do such things, I tried to keep a poinsettia alive for as long as I could after one Christmas and it lived almost a full year. Alas, I am, at best, a moderate gardener and natural biology finally won the day.

Thanks for the visit and I hope you have a great Christmas holiday.
