My #WeeklyCoffeeShare 12/28/19

If you want to read others, go here!

If we were having coffee together today, I would tell you that this week has been slow, but fast.

I got to talk with my children on Wednesday. My husband cooked a wonderful Christmas meal (chicken breast, stuffing, cranberry chutney, salad) and peppermint ice cream for dessert, for the three of us who live in the house.

Today my husband’s daughter and family will be over to celebrate Christmas with his sister who is here from out of town.

I got to have coffee and a scone with a wonderful friend yesterday.

We hope to see my son’s family who live about 3 hours away, next weekend.

Everyone has liked my tree.

The weather has been a wee bit warm for my taste (60s F).

  1. Sounds like a lovely holiday Ruth. Just perfect, family time and good food. Your mention of scones made me realise that I haven’t made scones for a while. We had scones as a standing Sunday tradition for a long time. I have some oat ciabattas in the oven right now, so I don’t think I will make any scones today, maybe next Sunday 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
