This word, doleful, is a perfect fit for how many of us are and have been feeling since Ruth Bader Ginsberg died. May her memory be a blessing.
INTERESTING: I heard something the other day, and you may be interesting in hearing this too. When someone is Jewish and they die, we should not use RIP because that is Christian (Catholic) based. What we can say for Jewish people is “May her/his memory be a blessing.” While every tradition / religion has different sayings, I am just learning this. Not all Jews believe in an afterlife like Christians do. There is a lot to read in the googles.

The words “RGB died today”
Reverberated in my being
A doleful cloud descended
May her memory be a blessing to us all!

We really have lost a great generation now, and we’re left with a lot of egotistical sludge.
