Every week, Colleen gives us a prompt to get us to write syllabic poetry. Click HERE to join in on the #TankaTuesday fun.
This week is to write an ekphrastic poem using this photo.

Love Forever
With tears in her eyes
She embraced the murdered tree
Standing in the snow
*~*
Oh the agony
Sobbing uncontrollably
Knowing Trillis died
*~*
She shivers with grief
Smoke of despair ascending
Trillis joined the stars

Ha! No it works so I can see your posts! You do some complex poetry for this prompt. This poem is beautiful with its emotions and descriptions so vivid. Well done, Ruth.
