The one minute meditation that I read today was titled “Remember that your unconscious is always participating.” My summation is that it has to do with that “strong impulse” that comes over you and you lash out or…. , that is your subconscious. She asks us to sit back and think on those times, and see what feelings or memories come up and examine them. Acknowledge them, and be mindful the next time. My three verse senryu is about this very thing.
rage boils, spilling out
no conceivable control—
I AM NOT STUPID
upon reflection
girls are lesser, kept quiet—
LET ME EXPLAIN IT
no more reaction
reflection, maybe action
mansplaining ignored
