My Take – TANKATUESDAY WEEKLY #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 234, #SYNONYMSONLY

The synonyms for this challenge are GREEN and MORASS. I used the word unfledged for green and mess for morass.

The following is a true story not yet a week old, and is heavy on my mind. This is a Stacked/Double Inverted Etheree.

My First Ambulance Ride

a gushing bleeding nose disrupted my sleep
emergency assistance was called
ambulance ride, anxiety
paramedics - not unfledged
calm and well seasoned nurse
mess sort of controlled
more blood spewed from
nose and mouth
choking
gag

stopped
again
bp down
white as a sheet
rhino rockets — ouch
e n t - surgery
recovery-still no sleep
hubby by my side all night long
once bleeding ceased, I ate and walked
I was homeward bound. Recovering, thanks.

  1. A frightening moment! My older daughter used to have regular horrific nosebleeds–they never knew why, but she learned to deal with it (and calm everyone else down). So much blood! I’m glad you’re better now. (K)
