This is the 35th week’s submission. The theme is nostalgia.
Title: “ Dolls They Used to Play With ”
Description: This is a nostalgia piece that has been in this house “forever.” Jim’s sisters and his mother and possibly grandmother used to play with these dolls. The Japanese doll was a gift from a friend who lived in Japan. The various collectibles were accumulated over the years. The line of turtles are a small collection of mine.

Love this – we have no heirlooms to speak of, too much moving around both for us and our forebears.

Jim’s family lived in this house for 70 years and maternal and paternal parents lived in the area.

Um, all I could think of when I looked at this picture was that I need to write a horror story about it. I know those dolls mean something to their grown owners, but it just kind of creeped me out. Your photography is always good. This was wonderful!
