My Take – TANKATUESDAY WEEKLY #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 247, #SYNONYMSONLY

I am submitting this poem for the theme prompt “synonyms only.” The words are Twilight & Hue. I’ll use dusk for twilight and tinge for hue.

NOTE: If you look closely, the bright speck in the sky to the left of the crescent moon is mercury and not a speck of dust in the lens.

  1. I think it was last month I saw the moon (or a piece of it) along with three planets…
    Mars, Venus and Mercury!
I think there is an app for smart phones… but since I don’t have one I had to rely on another.
So cool to see the constellations pop up on that app.

      1. Southeastern, PA.
About mid way between Philly and Harrisburg.

“It is difficult to predict the maximum brightness of new comets with any degree of certainty, but Hale–Bopp met and exceeded most predictions when it passed perihelion on April 1, 1997, reaching about magnitude −1.8”

I’m not sure what that all means. But that must have been the year I saw it…
