The poem is inspired by this photo and is my submission for #TankaTuesday!
Gogyohka usually contain five lines but could have four or six lines. It’s up to the poet. Each line should consist of one phrase with a line-break after each phrase or breath. Gogyohka has no restraints on the numbers of words or syllables used. However, this form should be written as other Japanese short verse poetry. The theme for gogyohka is unrestricted. No title and no rhyming.

I would love to imagine that the fae live in the burms and gardens around my yard.
I do have one metal fairy on a stick… amid the still blooming and fragrent Allysum!

This is lovely, Ruth. It goes along with Pleiades and seven faery queens, which are present in our night skies. ❤
