The theme is beginnings and endings. This poem is an etheree.
From Dawn to Dusk
life
cycle
birth then death
miracle start
grief stricken exit
learns to walk unaided
mobility aids needed
crawls and gets into much mischief
cannot remember their own children
living life fully from start to finish

Our life cycle is indeed the perfect example of beginnings and endings. Love this. XO

Well written and so much truth. My sister’s MIL is now living with her due to advancing dementia – and this is what she experiences daily…

Life can be a real challenge when the process reverses… for those with memory loss.
(I know too many going backwards…some sooner than later.)

Ruth – I really like how you alternated back and forth in this piece – that was so effective!

Thank you David! I often talk about or think about the cycle of life. It is fascinating and intimidating at the same time. 🥰
