My Take – #TankaTuesday Weekly #Poetry Challenge No. 276, 5/31/22, #ShareYourDay #haiku

Colleen has asked us to share our day.

I now start my day without any electronic device in my hand for an hour. This is when I have my first cup of coffee sitting outside on my patio. After I’m done communing with nature, I get my phone.

This is my refuge-where I get inspiration, where I thank Gaia for this abundance. (I took three photos and put them together for a quick walk in my back yard. I’ll also post each photo separately.)

Here’s my haiku.

Thank you for reading!

  1. Oh my! Your beautiful yard submerged! I trust that nature is resilient. It will come back…. Until then I’m hoping that you can find consolation in the hanging planters, wind chimes and bird feeders!

  2. I hope you have recovered from your flooding. We get that occasionally too being near a creek.
I start my morning filling feeders and now watering my gardens. 🙂
