Colleen has asked us to share our day.
I now start my day without any electronic device in my hand for an hour. This is when I have my first cup of coffee sitting outside on my patio. After I’m done communing with nature, I get my phone.
This is my refuge-where I get inspiration, where I thank Gaia for this abundance. (I took three photos and put them together for a quick walk in my back yard. I’ll also post each photo separately.)
Here’s my haiku.

Thank you for reading!

Lovely. All of it. And your appreciation of all you have is such a precious feeling I get from your haiku.
Bless you. Thanks.

Thank you! Please send positive vibes-we had at least 8 inches – it can be redone, I’ll know more tomorrow.

Oh my! Your beautiful yard submerged! I trust that nature is resilient. It will come back…. Until then I’m hoping that you can find consolation in the hanging planters, wind chimes and bird feeders!

Just read about the flooding. So sorry, Ruth. Sending hugs 💖

Hugs much appreciated. I’m a bit bleary, even though it could have been so much worse. I’m sure writing about it will help…. but first a nap.

Thank you! It flooded last night 😢 I’ll update.

I hope it isn’t too bad. It floods over here regularly, but it recedes in just a few hours once the storm leaves. I hope it is that way for you as well. 🙂

It did recede but left a lot of debris, knocked out fence, got a bit into house. But it will all get back to normal.
Where are you located?

I’m in Texas – small city next to Fort Worth! This was “just” a thunderstorm.

Crazy! I hope you don’t get any more thunderstorms like that one any time soon.

It was very very unusual. 5+ inches fell in an hour…

Definitely worse than what we received from the tropical storm. Wow!

HOLY BUCKETS! Is that the storm headed for the midwest?

No clue. It was unexpected. The clouds dumped on a few cities near around Fort Worth. We actually got lucky compared to some.

I hope you have recovered from your flooding. We get that occasionally too being near a creek.
I start my morning filling feeders and now watering my gardens. 🙂

We are drying out… two of the plant beds are going to take lots of TLC… will have to wait… The others are cleaned.
